Spend
a day or two traveling the back roads of Central Texas and/or the Hill Country
with Edward Moore, me, as your guide. I bring a lifetime of exploring
Texas and Texas history to a trip. We go to the small towns, down the
scenic historical back roads, go to rodeos and hang out in music halls and visit
great places most Texas tourists never see.
The Spanish Presidio (fort) above, at Goliad. Tours rarely go here. Goliad is a beautiful small town. A step back in time.
I am the author of this Camino Real web page and the creator of www.TexasIndians.com , one of the most popular Indian web sites on the internet. With a degree in anthropology (archeology), a minor in geography and as part of the Graduate School of History at Texas State University I know Texas well.
We
can do history, nature (March thru April is wildflower season in Texas and it is
spectacular), Spanish missions and forts, go to the coast, explore the German
towns in the Hill Country - you name it. I know the best places to go,
where to
find good food, where to shop etc. Name your passion or pleasure
and lets go there.
The Gonzales County Courthouse. Gonzales has wonderful historic architecture and lots of important history. Another seldom visited small town in Texas.

Cultural Activities
Get out of the big city and there is so much to see and do.
I can accommodate two or three adults comfortably in my air conditioned 4wd Ford Explorer with room for camera gear and some luggage. We go where we want. Stop where we want as long as we want and have fun.
The cost is quite reasonable compared to a tour bus. Most large tours on busses in San Antonio cost around $45 - $70 per person per tour. They are limited to major tourist attractions. Travel with me for $130 per day, up to three persons, plus gas, meals if we eat fancy, hotel accommodations if an overnight and any admissions. Stay out all day and in many cases most of the night too.
Texas is a wonderful place to explore and travel.
Drop me an email for more info and lets see where we can go.

The Texas Theater in Seguin. This is an unremodeled 1920s theater. Tourists almost never go to Seguin.
